As part of my course I have been given the task of creating my own typology. After hearing this i was instantly confused as I have never heard of a typology and had no idea what they were. After a brief overview of the subject i found out that they are “the study or systematic classification of types that have characteristics or traits in common”. Typologies can be created from virtually anything and show images of the same things at the same sort of angle. For my personal project i chose “buttons” as the focus for my typologies.
